Arlet Montalvo-Mosso is the recipient of Lawrence University's Howard and Helen Russell Award for Excellence in Biological Research. It recognizes excellence in biological research at the college. The award was established by family and friends of the Russells. Members of the Russell family have been strong supporters of liberal education and Lawrence University; Howard and Helen Russell are grandparents of Beth De Stasio '83, professor of biology and Raymond H. Herzog Professor of Science, whose husband, Bart De Stasio '82, is also a professor of biology. This year the award is given in honor of Beth De Stasio's father, Roger Schoenfeld.

Apaarna Gajulapalli is a recipient of Lawrence University's Howard and Helen Russell Award for Excellence in Biological Research. It recognizes excellence in biological research at the college.

Matthew Carlson is the recipient of Lawrence University's Patricia Ritter Prize in Chinese Language. It recognizes exceptional achievement by a Lawrence undergraduate in the study of Chinese language.

Isabel Osterhus is the recipient of Lawrence University's Patricia Ritter Prize in Chinese Culture. It recognizes exceptional achievement by a Lawrence undergraduate in the study of Chinese culture. The award was established in honor of Ms. Ritter for her work in promoting academic exchange between China and the United States.

Mira Johnson is the recipient of Lawrence University's Sumner Richman Student Research Award in Biology. It is awarded to a student showing promise in biological research.

Laken Hairston is the recipient of Lawrence University's Sumner Richman Student Research Award in Biology. It is awarded to a student showing promise in biological research.

Juli Clarkson is the recipient of Lawrence University's Richardson Award for Studio Art. It is awarded to women excelling in studio art.

Emma Jacobs is the recipient of Lawrence University's Elizabeth Richardson Award in Art History. The prize is awarded to women excelling in art history.

Mikayla Henry is the recipient of Lawrence University's Thomas B. Reid Prize in Journalism, established from Reid's estate in 1961 and awarded to a student planning to pursue the graduate study of library science. According to the award citation, Henry served as one of the editors-in-chief at the student newspaper, The Lawrentian, and is in the process of applying to the Denver Publishing Institute. She graduated from Lawrence in June with a major in English (creative writing).

Lucie Peltier is the recipient of Lawrence University's Alexander J. Reid Prize in English. It is awarded to the student who writes the best sketch.
