Johnson named senior class speaker
Monique Johnson, a government major from Brooklyn, New York, with plans to pursue law school after graduation, has been named the 2024 senior class speaker for Lawrence University's June 9 Commencement.

Leadership in music education symposium
Emily Dorr, a music education major at Lawrence University, has been committed to building community among others at Lawrence who are aspiring to teach music. As president of Lawrence's chapter of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), the senior from St. Paul, Minnesota, led a recent annual symposium that featured an international guest.
