Cristyn Oliver, a standout cross country and track athlete now in her fifth year at Lawrence University, is looking to put lessons learned on and off the track to work in a career focused on sports psychology. A psychology major from Redondo Beach, California, Oliver's passion for running has led to her interest in sports psychology over the past few years. She capped off her cross country career at Lawrence in record-setting fashion.

Charon honored with Ralph V. Landis Award
Congratulations to Jacob Charon for being the recipient of Lawrence University's Ralph V. Landis Award, presented annually for outstanding contributions to Lawrence athletics by a senior male student-athlete. Charon graduated from Lawrence in June with majors in business & entrepreneurship and English (literature). He was a standout on the Lawrence baseball team.

Celebrating inaugural women's hockey team at Lawrence
During the 2020-21 academic year, women's hockey started as Lawrence University's 22nd varsity athletics program. Four years later, nine seniors who were present since the beginning are preparing to graduate. Those seniors will play their final game as Vikings on Feb. 10 at the Champion Center in Appleton. They were recently honored at the program's first ever Senior Day.

Women's basketball scoring record
Lawrence University women's basketball star Kenya Earl etched her name in the school's record book Saturday, and she did it in winning fashion. Earl broke Lawrence's career scoring record as part of the Vikings' 66-48 Midwest Conference victory over Grinnell College at Alexander Gymnasium. Earl scored 12 points to push her career total to 1,489 points and broke the record of 1,487 set by Lawrence Hall of Famer Claire Getzoff in 2006.

Defender Sean McLaughlin (Kalamazoo, Mich./Paw Paw) and forward Konstantinos Fardellas (Thermi, Greece/1st Lyceum) were named first-team all-conference, and defender Rodrigo Angulo (Trujillo, Peru/Cesar Valejo Club) was chosen for the second team.

Six Lawrence University football players have been chosen for the All-Midwest Conference team in a vote of league coaches. Linebacker Eder Bellegarde and receiver/returner Cameron Wicks were both first-team selections. Safety/returner Terrell Myers was chosen for the second team on both defense and special teams, and quarterback D'Andre Weaver, receiver Tanner Morris and defensive lineman Zachary Adams were second-team picks.
