Lawrence University junior Jackson Bertman, a standout diver on the swimming and diving team, keeps his focus on team success even while piling up individual accolades, including being named Midwest Conference Diver of the Year for the third straight year.

Cristyn Oliver, a standout cross country and track athlete now in her fifth year at Lawrence University, is looking to put lessons learned on and off the track to work in a career focused on sports psychology. A psychology major from Redondo Beach, California, Oliver's passion for running has led to her interest in sports psychology over the past few years. She capped off her cross country career at Lawrence in record-setting fashion.

Emma Vasconez is the recipient of Lawrence University's Marion Read Award, given for outstanding contributions to Lawrence athletics.

Cristyn Oliver is the recipient of Lawrence University's Pond Award for Women, given for all-around athletic ability by a senior woman in two or more sports and for sportsmanship, school spirit, and scholarship.

David Benjamin is the recipient of the Charles E. Pond Award for Men at Lawrence University. It is given for all-around athletic ability by a senior man in two or more sports and for sportsmanship, school spirit, and scholarship.

Congratulations to Jacob Charon for being the recipient of Lawrence University's Ralph V. Landis Award, presented annually for outstanding contributions to Lawrence athletics by a senior male student-athlete. Charon graduated from Lawrence in June with majors in business & entrepreneurship and English (literature). He was a standout on the Lawrence baseball team.

Congratulations to Charlotte Brennan, a first-year student-athlete at Lawrence University, for being the recipient of the college's Outstanding First-Year Athletic Award for Women, given to the first-year female athlete who has made the most outstanding contribution to Lawrence athletics.

Congratulations to Eli Freyre de Andrade, a first-year student on the Lawrence University fencing team, for being the recipient of the college's Outstanding First-Year Athletic Award for Men, given to the first-year male student-athlete who has made the most outstanding contribution to Lawrence athletics.

Congratulations to Adnan Sarancic, who graduated in June from Lawrence University with a major in international relations, for being the recipient of the college's Iden Charles Champion Cup, awarded for excellence in scholarship, athletic ability, college spirit, and loyalty.

During the 2020-21 academic year, women's hockey started as Lawrence University's 22nd varsity athletics program. Four years later, nine seniors who were present since the beginning are preparing to graduate. Those seniors will play their final game as Vikings on Feb. 10 at the Champion Center in Appleton. They were recently honored at the program's first ever Senior Day.

Lawrence University men's basketball player Brad Sendell is named Midwest Conference Player of the Year.

Lawrence University women's basketball star Kenya Earl etched her name in the school's record book Saturday, and she did it in winning fashion. Earl broke Lawrence's career scoring record as part of the Vikings' 66-48 Midwest Conference victory over Grinnell College at Alexander Gymnasium. Earl scored 12 points to push her career total to 1,489 points and broke the record of 1,487 set by Lawrence Hall of Famer Claire Getzoff in 2006.

Three members of the Lawrence University women's tennis team earned 2021 All-Midwest Conference honors.

Lawrence University women's soccer players Natalie Linebarger and Emma Vasconez have both been chosen for the All-Midwest Conference team. Linebarger (Verona, Wis./Verona) and Vasconez (Huntley, Ill./Huntley) were both chosen for the second team.

Three Lawrence University men's soccer players and the coaching staff were honored by the Midwest Conference. Defender Sean McLaughlin (Kalamazoo, Mich./Paw Paw) and forward Konstantinos Fardellas (Thermi, Greece/1st Lyceum) were named first-team all-conference, and defender Rodrigo Angulo (Trujillo, Peru/Cesar Valejo Club) was chosen for the second team.

Six Lawrence University football players have been chosen for the All-Midwest Conference team in a vote of league coaches. Linebacker Eder Bellegarde and receiver/returner Cameron Wicks were both first-team selections. Safety/returner Terrell Myers was chosen for the second team on both defense and special teams, and quarterback D'Andre Weaver, receiver Tanner Morris and defensive lineman Zachary Adams were second-team picks.
