Congratulations to Nick Baer for being the recipient of two of Lawrence University's year-end academic awards. The government major received the Political Science Journal Award, given to an outstanding undergraduate student, and the Patricia Ritter Prize in Chinese Language, recognizing exceptional achievement in the study of Chinese language.

Emma Goodman is the recipient of the Jessie Mae Pate McConagha Prize at Lawrence University, an annual award that recognizes interdisciplinary scholarship in art history within the humanities. Goodman graduated from Lawrence in June with majors in art history and studio art.

Taeha Jeon is the recipient of Lawrence University's annual Charles F. Lauter International Student Prize. Established in honor of a former dean, the award is given to an international student who distinguishes themselves through scholarship, leadership, service, and support for Lawrence International.

Mae Capaldi is the recipient of the Hicks Prize in Poetry at Lawrence University, presented annually to a student for the best submitted poem.

Lee Rowe is the recipient of the Paul C. Hollinger Award in Music History at Lawrence University, presented annually to a student in honor of former music professor Paul Hollinger.

Helen Threlkeld is the recipient of the Paul C. Hollinger Award in Music History at Lawrence University, presented annually to a student in honor of former music professor Paul Hollinger.

William R. Brenneman is the recipient of the Christine Gerdes Award in Anthropology at Lawrence University, presented to an outstanding junior who excels in the study of anthropology.

Madeleine Tevonian is the recipient of Lawrence University's Richard A. Harrison Award for Researchers in the Humanities and Social Sciences. It is presented annually to a student in memory of Richard A. Harrison, a former dean of the faculty.

Colin Hutton is the recipient of Lawrence University's First-Year Studies Writing Prize. It is awarded to a student whose submitted paper demonstrates outstanding qualities of critical analysis and thoughtful articulation. The winning paper is selected by a committee of First-Year Studies instructors.

Alyssa Joy Sorensen is the recipient of the John Herbert and Mamie E. Farley Prize in Philosophy at Lawrence University, awarded annually to a senior student or students excelling in the study of philosophy.

Emily Zuniga is the recipient of Lawrence University's annual Clyde Duncan Prize, awarded to an upperclass student with broad interests and abilities that combine music with literature, aesthetics, and culture.

Annika Michelle Kreeger is the recipient of Lawrence University's Undergraduate Award in Analytical Chemistry, given to a junior for outstanding performance in analytical chemistry. Lawrence faculty praised Kreeger as an exceptional student who demonstrates a strong understanding of the course's concepts and the ability to apply them in the lab. Her exceptional performance was highlighted by achieving the highest score ever on the lab practical. These achievements showcase Kreeger's exceptional aptitude for analytical chemistry, and her bright future in chemistry in general.
